I’m a big fan of the acoustic-singer-songwriter types, especially the ol’ finger pickin’ on the guitar. Kings of Convenience, James Taylor, Julie Byrne, Joni Mitchell, the list goes on and on…
I think I can add Jessica Pratt to that list. After a couple spins I’m loving this album. It’s quiet music for our loud times, which makes me think: where does music like this fit into our lives these days?
It’s an idea I hope to explore soon.
