I don’t want to jinx anything, but it seems like my favorite band is back in business.
Broken Social Scene will release an EP titled Let’s Try the After Vol. 1 on February 15th. I’m going to assume there is a volume two on the way later this year. At that point, hopefully we’ll get a physical release.
In the press release, Kevin Drew stated that “The point is to keep going. We have more to give. These songs have lived beside us and become our commencement party while continuing together. We hope you enjoy this EP for you and me.”
They’re playing two shows at The Fonda Theatre in June and I can pretty much die happy now.
