Arlo Parks is an incredible singer-songwriter from London who recently crossed my radar, and holy shit is she talented. Definitely start with “Black Dog” to be blown away. She is inspired by Portishead, Earl Sweatshirt, and emo. How cool is she?
The music has some classic singer/songwriter elements, with hints of r’n’b and of course, emo. “Eugene” is another banger.
